In addition to the effective sun protection Obagi Sunfader provides, it also contains topical prescription-strength 4% hydroquinone. Hydroquinone, a skin lightening agent, is one of the best treatments for hyperpigmentation.
It works to lighten dark spots and to correct your uneven skin surface colour, leaving you with an even skin tone and a brighter complexion.

People with prior history of sensitivity or allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients should not use it. The safety of topical hydroquinone use during pregnancy or in children (12 years and under) has not been established.
